It took reeeeeeeeeaaaaalllllly long time. In the guide it says it would take a long time so don't do it. However, this time I flashed the system partition as well. I used the same short-wire method and flashed the only TOT I could find, which was 10E. I tried to flash the LGUP_8974.dll to try to fix it and nothing. tot file because its considering my phone as D851 model. I flashed a D851 Variant version of the rom and after fixing the hard brick part i am stuck flashing the. I am facing the same problem with my LG G3 D850. I tried renaming the KDZ to TOT but it could not be extracted to the right MBN files. Or a working method for KDZ to TOT conversion. Tried another KDZ from another source and the same result. What happened is that the tool turn the KDZ to CAB and then when I try to extract the CAB it says that it is corrupted. I tried following the method of LGExtract tool to turn the KDZ file to TOT but that did not work either. I tried the TOT of V10E and it did not work. However, the issue that I faced was that I could not locate the TOT file of V21A. I used the tool named: BoardDiag and it could copy stuff to my phone. I opened up the phone and did the short-wire and my phone got recognized as Qualcom 9008. I look through the forums for solution and came across this:

After flashing once i tried to boot the device it refused, after LG logo it showed security error and switched off. As per title it is for D838 but someone had commented that it is working fine in his F350. I again flashed same recovery in Drake v1 and flashed this rom. All went well but model number changed to D838. I flashed a recovery for 5.0 and installed Drake V1.
